Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru Les Rouvrettes

The Philippe Girard estate is located on a beautiful property in the heart of Savigny-les-Beaune, a beautiful village near Beaune. The estate currently cultivates 22 hectares (60% red, 40% white). The vines extend across 14 communes. The Domaine team places great importance on working the vines while respecting traditions and the terroir.

Aging for 8 to 10 months in oak barrels with 20% to 30% new barrels.

Characterized by the richness of its bouquet, it is a consistent wine with a certain smoothness in the mouth but also a lot of freshness of taste. Behind its gold color with emerald or pale straw reflections, this wine has a floral and cheerful nose. Its bouquet is willingly buttery, brioche. Accents of lemon, grapefruit, sometimes mineral. The attack, the vivacity contribute to the frankness of a clean and frank wine, where a persistent and sometimes spicy, quite fleshy fat is expressed.
