Champagne Bauchet is a family business passed on from father to son since 1920, located in the small Champagne village of Bisseuil. Four generations of the family have been cultivating and harvesting vines with great care and passion on their 34 hectares estate which is one of the largest in the Champagne region. Everything from grapes to the winemaking process is carried out entirely at the winery. The size of the family winery makes it possible to develop large quantities in a wide range of Champagne wines (6 cuvées) and to guarantee a consistent quality that is worthy of the great Champagne houses.
Ripe corn and fresh baguette on the nose with an undertone of almonds, dried flowers and thyme. Palate is supple and lively; its effervescence first takes prominence before giving way to the roundness of the wine. The aromatic impression is fruity with a suggestion of biscuits. A proper balance between acidity and sweetness is maintained nicely which gives it some body and accentuates its roundness and generosity.
