Champagne Bauchet is a family business passed on from father to son since 1920, located in the small Champagne village of Bisseuil. Four generations of the family have been cultivating and harvesting vines with great care and passion on their 34 hectares estate which is one of the largest in the Champagne region. Everything from grapes to the winemaking process is carried out entirely at the winery. The size of the family winery makes it possible to develop large quantities in a wide range of Champagne wines (6 cuvées) and to guarantee a consistent quality that is worthy of the great Champagne houses.
Contrast of a white wine made exclusively from black grapes from a Pinot Noir terroir, the Côte des Bar, and a Premier Cru terroir in Bisseuil. Offered with a low Extra Brut dosage of 5.5 g/l, this cuvée reflects a beautiful identity between terroir and know-how.
The first nose is inviting and appetizing. Aromas of cooked fruit, warm biscuits and notes of honey. Once airy, the tones evolve towards the garden, on an autumnal, smoky and nutty background. The attack on the palate is powerful and sharp. It begins in a refined way: a wine with a strong and dense body. The balance is quickly found between freshness and vinosity. The finish is long and persistent, slightly chalky.
