Altos del Terral Crianza

Paco Casas came to Ribera del Duero in 1996 after studying Oenology in Bordeaux. He worked for years as a winemaker for Pago de los Capellanes, and found himself in a small corner in the Burgos municipality of La Horra. Land of old vines that he immediately fell in love with. It was easy to want that terroir where the grapes are born with exquisite quality. He works with two hectares of old vineyards, an unbeatable orientation and altitude to make his dream of producing quality, intense and deep wines come true.

Grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards which are 40 years old, located between the Burgos towns of La Horra and Roa de Duero.

Fruity aromas of blackberry and undergrowth appear, well combined with balsamic and spicy tones. Typical of the French woods in which it has been aged for 12 months. In the mouth it enters with a pleasant subtlety, a round palate and ample aftertaste, leaving sensations of complexity and harmony. Ripe fruit and elegant tannins.
