Desiderio

Avignonesi is a wine producer in the Montepulciano region of southern Tuscany. The estate was founded in 1974 by the Avignonesi family. It was acquired by Virgine Saverys in 2009, who has expanded the estate significantly. It now comprises 175 hectares of vineyards, and has a new, state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Saverys also established it as a leader in biodynamic winegrowing in the country. Avignonesi is certified organic, biodynamic (Biodyvin) and vegan.

A soft, fruity red with berry and plum character. Some chocolate. It’s medium-bodied. Vivid and refined for the vintage.
