Chateau Les Remparts De Birol

The Château Tour Birol is located in the village of Samonac, in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg AOC. The 10-hectare winery was completely replanted with selected grape varieties (Merlot, Malbec) in the 1970s. In 2010 it was acquired by Damien and Anaïs Labiche, both of whom come from winemaking families. Today the winery covers 35 hectares in a unique terroir. Most of the vines are planted on slopes and benefit from an optimal orientation (south/southwest) in a region that benefits from a microclimate that offers more solar radiation than the rest of Bordeaux's vineyards.

Intense red color with purple reflections. Notes of ripe fruit, blackberries and black cherries on the nose. On the palate a perfect balance between fruit and complexity, and a nice length.
