Château Trotte Vieille

Château Trotte Vieille is a wine estate in Saint-Émilion, just one kilometer east of the town itself, on the famed Saint-Émilion plateau. In 1955 it was rated as Premier Grand Cru Classé B in the official classification of Saint-Émilion wines, a status it has retained through every subsequent reiteration of the famed classification.  Characterized by an unique terroir (12 ha of vines) stretching over a calcareous plateau with a subsoil of clay and an important percentage of Cabernet Franc, TrotteVieille produces exceptional wines which are known for their traditional character and their
minerality.

From the initial floral centric notes on the nose, you move to the palate with its velvety textured, multiple layers of sweet, lush, pure, silky red fruits, touch of oak, herbs and licorice and a sensuous finish.
