Glen Moray Sherry Cask

Glen Moray Distillery nestles on the banks of the River Lossie in the city of Elgin, the capital of Speyside, a region synonymous with malt whisky. Glen Moray Single Malt Whisky has been distilled here since 1897 by a small dedicated team of craftsmen. In over a century of distilling at Glen Moray, much has changed, however the ingredients, processes and skills of those responsible for producing Glen Moray remain constant.

Sherry cask finish richly illustrates Distillery's expertise in finishing, a skill they've been honing for many years. Glen Moray begin by maturing their whisky in American oak casks for the traditional Speyside style then finishing it in Oloroso sherry casks, sourced from Jerez in Spain to add notes of dried fruity, nuts and spice. A whisky to be savored both by long-time single malt fans and new drinkers alike.

Burnished gold color. Sun dried fruits, toasted cinnamon and toffee candy on the nose. Palate offers sweet vanilla oak, dark chocolate and oriental spice. Mouth tingling warm spice combines with bittersweet dark chocolate to deliver a long rich satisfying finish.
