Lying north of Etna, Europe’s most active volcano, in an ancient winemaking area, the Graci winery only works with native varieties. With a particular focus on sustainability both in the vineyard and in the winery. As a result, they produce inspiring wines that showcase the natural expression of a large volcanic area. Cultivation of vineyards is certified organic, with careful selections and search for full maturity, limiting the yields in the vineyard to a minimum. The approach in the winery is rigorous, in search of precision and finesse.
Graci Arcuria Etna Rosso comes from a very old vineyard lying at an altitude of 600 to 700 metres. These are old vines planted in sandy soil of volcanic origin with a high iron content. They are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture, limiting the yield to 40 hl / ha and when the grapes reach optimum ripeness, they are harvested manually and selected in the vineyard itself.
Smooth red wine with pleasant aromas of red fruits, notes of Mediterranean forest and spicy touches. On the palate it is intense, voluminous and warming. It has robust tannins and a long and fruity mid-palate.
