Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos

Domaine Besson is a family and independent estate from four generations of winegrowers. This family estate in Chablis has 21 hectares under vine and has been run by four successive generations and produces seven appellations within Chablis area. Located in the heart of the Chablis, Domaine Besson tries, in its wines, to express and transmit the purity and sensitivity of this exceptional and unique terroir. The philosophy of Domaine Besson is for this reason to provide all the necessary care so that the vines express all their strength and typicality.

Les Clos is the largest and most famous Grand Cru; its fame based on its history as one of Chablis’ first vineyards. The appellation enjoys a southerly aspect with very white, dense and deep clay soil, resting on a limestone bed 80 cm below the ground, which brings to the wine spicy notes so typical of this terroir.

Pale yellow with golden highlights. Nose is complex, fruity with hints of yellow fruits and citrus. Stuffy round, powerful, expression of floral and fruity notes.
