Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Chateau Gris

Domaines Albert Bichot is a leading family-owned and run négociant house and estate owner in Burgundy, formed in 1831 and now based in the town of Beaune. Albert Bichot company owns more than 100 hectares (250 acres) of sustainably farmed vineyards divided among six estates. Grapes are both company or estate-owned or sourced from a network of long-term growers.

The Château-Gris is situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges. It is a smaller estate covering only 3.5 hectares (8.6 acres) with a monopole site (a vineyard with a single owner). 

Elegant and classy on the nose, this Premier Cru features aromas of black fruit with fine, delicate floral notes. On the palate, the body has a great deal of sucrosity but with beautiful structure, and well-integrated oak that does not overpower the fruit. Pleasant feeling of freshness on the finish.
