Alama Gran Cuvee

This estate makes Italy’s finest sparkling wines from its 190 hectares of vineyard situated in the western part of the Franciacorta zone in a natural amphitheatre. The glacial soil is full of stones, and provides the ideal environment for the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes used in the production of their Franciacorta. The property was founded when Vittorio Moretti bought the hill called ‘Bellavista’, because of its stunning view, in the early 1970s.  At Bellavista, every process is performed naturally, from the vineyards to the wine. Every decision is made in consideration of the rhythms dictated by nature and by the history of the Franciacorta area.

The wine is a straw yellow color with greenish highlights and a fine, continuous bead. Ample and enveloping, the aromas range from ripe fruit to fresh flowers, all the way to vanilla and pastry. In the mouth, it is mineral and complete, fresh and vibrant, and very consistent from an aromatic perspective. Long, harmonious finish.
