Product Details

Château Cantenac-Brown is a wine producer located in Margaux, on the left bank of the Gironde river in Bordeaux. It was established in the early 19th Century and was classified as a third growth in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc and Graves. The vineyard is planted on gravelly soils shot through with white stones, which help to reflect the sun's warmth onto the grapes, helping ripening. The grand vin comes from vines that are on average 35 years old, and yields are kept in check by the winegrowing team. Every couple of months during the growing season, the grapes are checked bunch by bunch to ensure everything is progressing as it should.

Nice color, very deep. First, fruits come with berries and black cherries aromas. Then roasted coffee and a slight smoky flavor get added to the wide range of aromas suggested in this wine. The attack is silky and elegant. The wine is harmonious. The length is smooth.
