Haute Densite Pouilly Fume

Château de Tracy has been a family business since the 14th century. The family purchased the vineyards in the year 1396. They planted the vineyards with Sauvignon Blanc which is a crucial element of the Domaine and the Region even today. The vineyard is scattered throughout 37 hectares on the slopes of the Valley. The soils include Kimmeridgian, flinty clay, limestone and marls which is essential to the wines of the Loire Valley. It enables the Sauvignon Blanc to express its diversity, complexity, and intense mineral notes.

The "High Density" come from a small plot planted on the most beautiful limestone soils of Château de Tracy. Coming from a unique style of cultivation on the Appellation, this Sauvignon Blanc offers a rare complexity.

On the nose rich and complex, it opens on aromas of pear, eucalyptus, licorice, and rare wooden essences. After a short time in the glass, some 'sunny flavors' appear: peach, fresh pineapple, mango, sweet grapefruit. The first sensation on the palate is finesse but vivacity. The attack is sharp, fleshy, developing citrus, vanilla aromas and pepper.
