La Luna

The Fattoria di Corsignano is an Italian certified organic winery and estate that is perfectly located in the Chianti Classico territory of the Italian Tuscany wine-making region. The winery is in the southern part of the Chianti Classico area, just a few kilometers from Siena City. The Fattoria di Corsignano was established in 1988. The company philosophy at Fattoria di Corsignano starts with the winery being an artisanal, family-run, and owned business with an annual production of approximately 40 000 bottles. The estate covers an area of 22 hectares and the focus of the wine-making team is to produce Chianti Classico wines that maintain respect for traditions, the soil, the unique Sangiovese grapes, and the highest in wine-making quality.

This line at the family winery is inspired by Tarot Cards. This blend is named after "The Moon" and inspired by the beauty and elegance of the female. There are only 500 bottles produced of this special elegant wine. Fattoria di Corsignano had the wish to discover an old, unusual and autochthonous vine which has been partially left aside because of its delicacy. 

Intense ruby deep red color. Notes of plum, blackberry and spice are found on the nose. Palate is soft, marked fruit pulp, good acidity with spicy tertiary notes.
